New Life Op Shop

Our Op Shop exists to serve the local community. It’s a place to relax, enjoy company, and share prayer. Proceeds support the church’s ministry in Ipswich.

By shopping with us, you get great bargains, care for the environment, and help our church serve the community. Donations are always welcome—drop off during shop hours or call to arrange a time.

Volunteering:
New Life is fully volunteer-run. Opportunities are available to join the team. Contact the Church Office or speak to a volunteer in the shop.

Painting for Pleasure

This group meets weekly on Tuesdays at 9:00am in the church hall and enjoys sharing together in creating and learning new skills to use in our painting. We always share morning tea together and enjoy each other’s company.

Meets in the hall at Corner Eileen Street & Glebe Road Booval. 4304.

Adult Leisure Group

Would you like somewhere to have a cuppa’, a natter and perhaps a little competitive stimulation of a board game or two or maybe try your hand at some craft skills.

Then, the Adult Leisure Group might be the place for you!

The Leisure Group meets weekly on Monday mornings at 9:00 am in the hall on the corner of Ellenborough and Limestone Sts, Ipswich.

Meeting cost $3.00 per person.

​Each week’s program includes a short devotional to set you thinking and a bit of a laugh with regular joke telling, plus games, crafts and of course, a delicious morning tea.

Glebe Garden Club

A community garden club servicing the community and open for anyone in the community to join and become a member. The club operates in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, is multi-functional in its activities and does not specialise in any particular area or plant species. It is a general garden club!

Meets on the first Saturday of each month at 1:30pm.

A time for conversations, coffee, games, laughs.

This group meets at 2 Pommer St, Brassall on Fridays between 9 am and 11 am.

It’s open for everyone who’d like some to be part of a caring community.

Team Timor

Ipswich Uniting Church has maintained a partnership with Ekaristi Church in Dili, Timor-Leste since 2011. Through exchange visits we have built strong relationships allowing members of each church to experience the life, faith and community of the other.

Ipswich Uniting Church respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Custodians, the Jagera, Yuggera and Ugarapul peoples of the Yugara/Yagara Language Group, as custodians of the land and waters on which we worship. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging, and affirm the Covenant between the Uniting Church and the Uniting Aboriginal and Islander Christian Congress.
