Who We Are

Ipswich Uniting Church is a vibrant, multi-generational community committed to following Jesus and being transformed by him. Every Sunday, we come together to worship, find encouragement, and enjoy one another’s company. Throughout the week, we connect in small groups and fellowship, experiencing deep care and a shared desire to explore the way of Jesus.

With an open invitation, there’s always room for more people to be intrigued by the gospel and how our lives can be shaped by the message of Jesus.

Growing together

We will grow together in community so that we can encourage each other in discipleship.

Our impact will be seen in an increase in average weekly worship attendance of 5 – 10% annually.

Reaching out

As an expression of our discipleship, we will love and serve others locally, nationally, and internationally.

Our impact will be seen through each service and outreach activity of our church having a stated in (community), out (service), up (worship/devotion) dimension.

Making disciples

In response to Jesus’ Great Commission, we will create opportunities for people to hear and respond to the gospel.

Our impact will be seen in 50 new commitments to Jesus Christ by 2033.

Ipswich Uniting Church respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Custodians, the Jagera, Yuggera and Ugarapul peoples of the Yugara/Yagara Language Group, as custodians of the land and waters on which we worship. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging, and affirm the Covenant between the Uniting Church and the Uniting Aboriginal and Islander Christian Congress.
